2. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Tracking

Our website uses the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. These tools collect data about your activity on our site and send it to Meta Platforms, Inc.

What Gets Collected

The Meta Pixel places cookies on your browser (specifically the _fbp and _fbc identifiers) and records page views, button clicks, form submissions, phone call clicks, and other interactions you take on our site. When you are logged into Facebook in the same browser, Meta can link this browsing activity to your Facebook account using its own cookies (c_user and fr).

Through our Conversions API, we may also send hashed (encrypted, one-way) versions of your email address or phone number to Meta so it can match your website activity to your Facebook profile for ad measurement purposes. "Hashed" means we convert the data into a scrambled code before sending it. Meta cannot reverse this code back to your actual email or phone number.

How Meta Uses This Data

Meta uses this information to show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram, measure whether our ads led to actions on our website (conversion tracking), build audiences of people similar to our existing customers (lookalike audiences), and attribute leads and sales back to specific ad campaigns. Meta acts as an independent data controller for the information it receives, meaning Meta also has its own policies for how it handles your data. How to Opt Out of Meta Tracking

You can adjust your ad preferences directly through Facebook at facebook.com/adpreferences. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from Facebook and other participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.

3. Google Ads and Analytics Tracking

We use Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and interact with our website, and to measure the performance of our Google search and display advertising.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We will not share your mobile phone number or any information collected through SMS with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your requests for estimates, service appointments, and project information. We use it to schedule and confirm appointments, communicate with you about your gutter project, send follow-up messages after a completed service, measure and improve our advertising performance, analyze website traffic and user behavior to improve the site, and comply with legal obligations.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances.

Service providers: We share information with companies that help us run our business, including our CRM and scheduling platform (GoHighLevel), our scheduling and dispatch software (HouseCallPro), and our payment processor. These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.

Advertising platforms: As described in Sections 2 and 3, we share hashed identifiers and website activity data with Meta and Google for ad measurement and targeting purposes.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls within our CRM, and secure hosting. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request that we delete your personal information, opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (as those terms are defined under California law), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Our use of advertising cookies and pixels may constitute "sharing" of personal information under California law. Georgia Residents

Georgia does not currently have a consumer data privacy law equivalent to California's. However, we extend the ability to request access to or deletion of your personal information to all of our customers regardless of location. Contact us using the information below to make a request.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal, and our site does not currently alter its behavior based on a Do Not Track request. However, the opt-out mechanisms described in Sections 2 and 3 remain available to you.
